SIGNUM employment and labour lawyers actively participated in the discussion of the most topical issues of labour law enforcement faced by managers and specialists of HR departments of companies in various sectors in Kazakhstan.
The new concept of the Labour Code is now being elaborated by the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the order of the head of state. Therefore, EUROBAK held a meeting of the HR committee on this topic.
During the discussion, special attention was paid to the issues that have to be taken into account when developing the new concept of the Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, the following issues were discussed: the necessity of a more detailed regulation of employment and labour relations with managers and members of executive bodies of legal entities, subsidiaries and representative offices, distinctions of work of rotational employees and seconded personnel, recruitment of young professionals, as well as simplification of procedures of imposition of disciplinary sanctions and dismissal of employees.
The issue of the application of the so-called environmental benefits and compensations for the Aral Sea region population and victims of tests at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site caused a lively discussion.
