Winning Court Case on Results of the Tax Inspection
Litigation and Tax lawyers assisted big European Oil Company working in Kazakhstan under two PSAs in appealing actions of Tax Committee imposing more than USD 60 mln. Both the court of first level and the court of appeal confirmed the stability of both PSAs and its correct interpretation, and as a result the Company received ruling on satisfying more than 80% of the claimed taxes and duties. The decision of the court came into force.
