SIGNUM discussed practical aspects of registration in the AIFC

Perizat Nurlankyzy, associate of SIGNUM Law Firm, participated in discussion of practical aspects of registration in the AIFC (Astana International Financial Center). The event took place on 20 April 2018 in Astana and welcomed businesses, practicing lawyers, financial and other professionals.

The agenda of the roundtable focused on registration and accreditation with a particular emphasis on organizational legal forms of AIFC participants, presentation of the Expat Center, tax incentives and other matters, which captured interest and sparked lively discussions. Delegates and speakers also raised some vital issues, such as cooperation with the regional and central government authorities and harmonization of the AIFC regulations with Kazakhstan laws.

The roundtable was very insightful for practicing lawyers with regard to the AIFC objective and strategy and new opportunities for cooperation and high-profile legal services.
