SIGNUM’S Abylkhair Nakipov spoke at the Kazakhstan Corporate Lawyers Forum in Almaty

On 2-3 November, SIGNUM’s Partner Abylkhair Nakipov spoke at the XII Kazakhstan Corporate Lawyers Forum in Almaty. The Forum was organized by the VIPROMOTION GROUP.

The Forum speakers and participants discussed the current and upcoming legal developments and trends in Kazakhstan on a wide range of issues including, among others, legal support for business, subsoil use matters, court practice, employment law, business ethics and protection of entrepreneurs’ rights, corporate law and M&A transactions.

Mr Nakipov delivered a speech on subsoil use enforcement practice in Kazakhstan. He further shared with case studies on interaction with government authorities, tax matters and reparation of environmental damage. He specifically focused on mining contracts and Kazakhstan local content in personnel. The Forum brought together legal consultants, in-house lawyers and legal practitioners.
