IX International Atyrau Legal Conference Held on 22 April 2011 in Atyrau

On the 22nd of April, 2011 Madina Lavrenova and Abylkhair Nakipov participated in the work of one of the biggest events in the field of law – IX International Atyrau Legal Conference. The Conference was organized by the Kazakhstani Association of lawyers of the oil and gas sphere and JV “TengizChevroil”.

The subject of the Conference – “Emerging issues and analyses of the practice application of the legislation in oil and gas sphere in Kazakhstan”

In the frameworks of the Conference there were discussed the emerging issues on tendencies of development of the legislation in the sphere of subsoil use, the practice of application of new Law on subsoil and subsoil use.

The representatives of Mazhilis of the Parliament, representatives of the Supreme Court, scientists, lawyers from the native and the foreign firms and oil companies participated as well in the work of Conference.

Format of the Conference gave an opportunity to the participants to present their interesting reports, within which the tendencies of development of the oil, gas-chemistry and oil processing, formation of the unified and coordinated policy of the interaction and the search of new financial instruments for investment in the biggest international energy projects were discussed.
