SIGNUM participated in Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable in Astana

SIGNUM’s Managing Partner Sofiya Zhylkaidarova participated in Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable that held today, 3 July, in Astana.

Exploring new developments in the Kazakhstan’s business environment and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the government’s new investment strategy were the main focus of the Roundtable.

Discussion sessions followed with a focus on audience participation where the most interested topics to discuss were about public and private sectors engagement, investing into Kazakh energy, metals and mining sectors, agro-industry and “New Silk Road” opportunities.

The issue worth special attention is Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), that called as gateway to Eurasian financial markets, because Kazakhstan due to its unique geo-economic position and a comprehensive economic reform agenda provides easy access to the EAEU market.

The event gathered around of 500 senior international and Kazakh business and financial executives, investors, technologists and thought leaders and international experts.

The Roundtable convened by Kazakhstan Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
