SIGNUM lawyers contribute to the World Bank’s Doing Business report

The World Bank Group has recently published the 15th edition of its Doing Business guide, “Doing Business 2018: Reforming to Create Jobs”, which measures the principles that enhance business activity and those that constrain it. SIGNUM Law Firm was pleased to assist the World Bank in conducting the research on the commercial environment and regulatory developments within the Kazakhstan region and to be credited as a regional contributor to the 2018 Doing Business report.

For information: Doing Business measures aspects of business regulation for domestic firms through an objective lens. The focus of the project is on small and medium-sized companies in the largest business city of an economy. Based on standardized case studies, Doing Business presents quantitative indicators on the regulations that apply to firms at different stages of their life cycle. The results for each economy can be compared with those for 189 other economies and over time.
