SIGNUM lawyers participated in the 3rd International Forum of Corporate Directors in Kyiv, Ukraine

On 4 December 2018, SIGNUM’s associates Anel Kassabulatova and Rustam Baitazin participated in the 3rd International Forum of Corporate Directors in Kyiv, Ukraine. Hosted by IFC and CIPE, the forum was dedicated to the corporate governance issues with a focus on the status and efficiency of the supervisory boards and independent directors.

The event served as a platform for the high-level discussion between Ukrainian government authorities, local and international businesses and international organizations. Key note speakers included, among others, Maxim Nefyodov (First deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine), Timur Khromaev (Head of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market), Volodymyr Igonin (Partner at Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm) and others. International experts shared their experience of adoption of the best corporate governance practices in the OECD countries.
