On 19-20 June, Perizat Nurlankyzy attended the course “Introduction to the English Common Law”

On 19-20 June, SIGNUM Associate Perizat Nurlankyzy attended the two-day course “Introduction to the English Common Law” organized by AIFC within the AIFC Legal Week in Astana.

The course is presented by Professor Dame Hazel Genn, Professor of Socio-Legal Studies in the Faculty of Laws at University College of London (UCL). Professor Genn’s focus is on access to civil and administrative justice. Currently she holds a position of Director of the UCL Centre for Access to Justice and Co-Director of the UCL Judicial Institute.

The course provides essential understanding on the principles of the English common law system and forms an integral part of the UCL LLB Law program.
